History

The Hemingray 9 was a very popular pony style insulator, designed for rural telephone lines. These were produced in mass quantities, and can commonly be found in aqua, clear and ice blue. Other colors are generally less common and more desirable. This style was later replaced by the smaller CD 107 because it used less glass and was generally more robust.
The No.12 was a very popular pony style and can commonly be found in aqua and clear colors. As a telephone exchange insulator, the upper wire groove held the line, and the lower wire groove supplied the drop wire to the house.

Vintage Industrial
The creative reuse of old vintage glass insulators as lamps puts these old design icons back in the hands of people, out of dark basements and attics.
