Each attractive, contemporary low voltage lamp base includes a clear Hemingray-45 glass insulators.

It embraces a unique, modern, industrial, techno look, perfect for your garden, yard, wall, lawn, deck or patio.
Each set includes:
  • 2 1/2" ground stake
  • Attached Wire Connector
  • White T10 LED landscaping bulb
The base can be used with any standard wedge base landscaping bulb (T5 T10 194)
Note: The lens “sits” on the base, there is no clamp (I recommend a little silicon to secure the lens to the base)

    History

    Like its popular predecessor Hemingray 42, the Hemingray 45 was produced in mass quantities, well into the millions. Most are extremely common. Intended as a long-distance telephone insulator, it has a thick lower wire ridge to help withstand heavier line loads.
    Hemingray Glass Company is the best known and was the most prolific glass insulator manufacturer in the world. Although best known for their electrical insulators, Hemingray also produced many other glass items, including bottles, fruit jars, pressed glass tableware, syrup pitchers (“molasses cans”) in milk glass and other colors, tumblers, battery jars, fish bowls, lantern globes, kerosene oil lamps, and much, much more.
