History
History
The Brownie Flashmite 20 camera has a molded plastic body, available in a few different colors, with a direct vision optical finder. It features a built-in flash holder that uses AG1 bulbs and 3 apertures with EV scale indictors which basically translates: EV13=f/11 - EV14=f/16 - EV15=f/22. It also has fairly primitive focusing which sets it apart from many other Brownie models.
Fun Facts:
The Brownie Flashmite 20 camera was considered a more advanced Brownie. The ability to adjust f/stop and focus was marketed to a more advanced home photographer. The built-in flash holder this a complete camera "system".
This functional camera was designed by Arthur H. Crapsey, the designer of many popular Kodak cameras.
