Vintage Strand Century Stage Light upcycled into a Stargate Spotlight, and mounted on a new, adjustable, heavy-duty, aluminum tripod stand.

The spotlight has an 8" power cable with an IEC320 10A Power Plug. and an 10" power cable with inline switch and IEC320 10A Power Plug.
An additional 3 pin, 25 feet Power Cable is included.

The Stargate opening is 7" in diameter.

The weight of the light assembly is around 10 lbs. (without the tripod).
The maximum height on the tripod is around 9.8ft/3m’.
The stand features three legs that angle outward and connect to the center post for ultimate stability and strength.
The stand offers a 22lb load capacity.
The 3' wide base keeps the spotlight stable.
The light bulb socket has been updated to a standard E26 (medium)- (max 250 W).
A non-dimmable 20W T10 LED Corn Light Bulbs (100Watt Equivalent) 6000K Daylight White 2000 Lumen is included.

History

Stargate (often stylized in all caps) is a military science fiction media franchise based on the film directed by Roland Emmerich, which he co-wrote with producer Dean Devlin. The franchise is based on the idea of an alien Einstein–Rosen bridge device (the Stargate) that enables nearly instantaneous travel across the cosmos. The franchise began with the film Stargate, released on October 28, 1994.

Nice Light But....

I like the light but I felt that the build quality for the price should have been better. Two of the Stargate elements had come off during the shipping and 1of 3 screws that holds the electrical components in place is missing.
