Use your vintage glass insulators as eye-catching landscape lights.

This attractive, contemporary low voltage lamp base fits the following glass insulators:

  • Hemingray - 16 - CD 122 (the number is on the front of the insulator)
  • Hemingray - 17 - CD 122 (the number is on the front of the insulator)
This base will not work for Hemingray №16 (CD 121)
It embraces a unique, modern, industrial, techno look, perfect for your garden, yard, wall, lawn, deck or patio.
Includes:
  • 4" ground stake
  • 2ft 16/2 low voltage connections cable
  • Wire Connector
The base can be used with any standard wedge base landscaping bulb (T5 T10 194)
Available in 2 styles:
  • Base only without lightbulb
  • White or color LED light bulbs are available for an extra fee

Note: The lens “sits” on the base, there is no clamp (I recommend a little silicon to secure the lens to the base)

History

This common toll style replaced the earlier No.16 style (CD 121) in the 1920's. These were produced in mass quantities, so most are very common. Aqua, Hemingray Blue, and Ice Blue pieces were manufactured until c.1938. Afterwards, all CD 122's produced were clear or straw.
